Leighton Meester (born Leighton Meester) is a American model and singer. Leighton Meester is best known as Blair Waldorf in the TV drama series "Gossip Girl." She started her acting career in the midst of her childhood. She performed in the stage production in her local town of "Wizard of Oz" during her childhood. That sparked her fascination in acting. She began working by performing in commercials as well as modeling. As part of her modeling projects, she has been associated with major brands such as 'Herbal Essences' Vera Wang and Jimmy Choo and Ralph Lauren. Although she started working as model, she eventually started acting. The path to acting began when she had a cameo role in the popular television show 'Law & Order'. She has since played in numerous movies and television series which include 'CountryStrong and 'Monte Carlo' as well as Killer Movie. In addition to her role as an actor, Meester worked with famous artists like 'Cobra' Starship' singer Robin Thicke, and recorded songs.
