Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina is a Kyrgyzstani-Peruvian Muay Thai fighter, mixed martial artist, and competes in the UFC flyweight division. Valentina is her older sister, as well as a fellow UFC competitor. Shevchenko beat Jaimelene Nievera during Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11 Antonina defeated Nievera by her impressive striking ability during the clinch final round with knees placed on her body. Antonina's UFC contract was re-extended following this victory. Antonina was offered an UFC contract following her victory. Shevchenko was defeated by Roxanne modafferi in a split decision, after winning her first fight. Antonina rebounded from the defeat and fought Lucie Prudilova's fight in UFC on ESPN Covingtonvs. Lawler who was able to win the fight by rear naked choke submission.
