Colson Baker, also known as Machine Gun Kelly, is famous for his unique style of singing. Baker was originally born in Houston, TX U.S. on April 22nd 1990 to parents who were of English Scottish German descent. As a child Baker spent a large amount of time travelling with his parents, who were missionaries. James Colson Baker, his father, suffered depression and unemployment. His mother Sonia Alane had left him as he was nine. Baker relocated to Denver with his dad and stayed for a time. Baker's poverty was the reason to be bullied by children around him. When he was in sixth grade, he started listening to rap. Colson Baker popularly known as Machine Gun Kelly was born on April 22 1990 in Texas the U.S. His songs are known for their ability as a blend of contemporary hip-hop and rock music with alternative music. Baker has released four mixtapes over the years between 2007 and 2010, prior to joining Bad Boy Records. The Cleveland rapper who penned lyrics with the velocity that of a fast bullet saw an explosive growth when at the end of 2011, Baker made the switch from self-released tracks to well-known label. Over the next few years, every album he released came in at #10 on the chart.
