Laura Linney

Laura Linney is an American actor who became well-known for her portrayal of strong and vulnerable characters. Linney was born into a theatre-loving family. Her father named Romulus Linney, was a writer. In 1986, she received her degree at Brown University. She then pursued a degree in Theatre at the Arts Theatre School Moscow before finishing her studies at Juilliard School with a M.F.A. New York City, 1990. In the year 1990, she began her career in shows on Broadway and eventually receiving praise for her performances on stage in Six Degrees of Separation and Hedda Gabler.
